“Clear space” is the protected area around the logo mark to maximize its visual impact. This space must remain free of all other photos, graphics and text, including other logos. It is also the minimum distance the logo mark can be from the edges of a printed or electronic document. The amount of clear space surrounding the logo mark will vary with its size. The “x” height of the word mark is used to determine the clear space on all four sides.

For the logo mark to be legible, it must not be used smaller than the minimum sizes shown. It needs to remain prominent and sized appropriately, based on application. It is important to preserve these size restrictions to retain the shape and integrity of the center star.
